April 17, 2012

On April 15, Mikey, Robert, Claudia and Jules and I flew from Hyderabad to London, UK. We stayed in Windsor for a few days while Robert had to work. We enjoyed the Windsor Castle, Changing of the Guards, we did a Double Decker hop on hop off bus tour and we went to Legoland Windsor. Such a fun time!!!!

We found a little cafe in Windsor where we had breakfast almost every day. Claudia was so funny, she needed some time to adjust from her 4 weeks in India. She was going to pay for breakfast and she was getting all nervous: she couldn't find her 1000 rupee bill in her wallet!!! 1000 Rupees is about 20 US dollars and we were constantly joking with her where her 1000 British Pound bill was :)

Later that day she was walking into the bank and she was so used to people opening doors for her in India, that when the door didn't automatically open she said: 'Nuts, they are closed'. In the meantime, there were people inside the bank waiting for her to (MANUALLY) open the door. It was like a slow-motion scene out of a movie, where they were all staring at each other. I could not stop laughing for an hour or so!!! I guess you had to be there, but I'm sure that when Claudia is reading this, she is becoming as hysterical as I am right now :) HAHAHAHAHAHA

We went to Legoland, Windsor. It rained most of the day, but we still had an awesome time! And no lines for the rides :)

Such a fun time in the UK!!!!
