July 2012 - continued

July 14, 2012 was Jules and Lionel's 80th birthday!!! We celebrated with family at Marriott Delray Beach and had a wonderful party and dinner.

Mikey and Lilah had a little moment where they were dancing. So Lesley was taking lots of pictures of them. Mikey was so fed up with people taking pictures of him in India, that he ran up to Lesley and put his hands in front of her and said: no, no! No pictures!! Then he ran back to Lilah and continued dancing. No paparazzi for the littlest Pincusim :)

Steven went to visit his mom Rae. She looked very pretty in the new shirt Anne brought her!!!

After the party, unfortunately Mary had to go back to Vermont since she could only take a few days off of work.
Matthew, Lilah, Robert, Jules, Mikey and I went on a driving trip to St. Augustine. Luckily we were able to borrow David's Ford Expedition, otherwise it would have been really tight with 2 car seats!

Robert was driving and Matthew was stuck in between the kids most of the trip. Poor Matthew :)

We had rented a little apartment and Lilah just woke up the first night without her mom. Matthew had just stepped out to get some coffee and Lilah doesn't really know me. She only sees me a few times a year. But she did really well and we were singing songs in no time. I think she is soooo cute!!!!!

Of course we had to stop at a BBQ place for Robert

July 18 we went to DeLeon Springs in Volusia County. We got to make our own pancakes at the Old Spanish Sugar Mill Restaurant

After that, Robert, Mikey, Matthew and Lilah went swimming. The water was a little chili for Jules, Claudia and I :)

After DeLeon Springs we went to our friend Steve's house. He lives about 30 minutes away from the springs. He has such a beautiful house that he basically built himself!!!
I don't know if you can read the sign but it says: slow down for our short legged friends. It's cute :)

 He even built his wife an amazing art studio. She makes beautiful things with all sorts of materials. To accommodate all the different materials there are all these workstations dedicated to each form of art: Paper making, beading, jewelry, dyeing fabric, mosaics, etc. Truly amazing!!!!

 This is their kitchen, which is made of all re-used materials. So beautiful!!!

 Mikey and Lilah's favorite thing at Steve's house was the Chicken Coop!!!

I hope we can spend some time here in the future. Mikey loved it here!!! And they have 6 cats and hopefully some time next year some horses too.

The next day we went into the old town of St Augustine. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate much!!! It started pouring right after I took this picture

We had such a fun trip and Jules was able to meet up with all his high school friends!!! Our last night we had dinner with Claudia, Jules, Jim, Mary-Ruth, Helen, Bernie, Lilah, Matthew, Robert, Mikey and I

Lilah had a really good time with desert :)

We had such an awesome trip and I am so glad we got to spend some quality time with Lilah and Matthew!!!!

July 2012

June 28, we took our very long trip back to the USA. We stayed with my father in law Jules. One of Robert's colleagues Naveen from Hyderabad was also in town we had fun showing him around his first trip abroad. 

July 2 we met Susan, Jared, Max, Noah and Sasha at the best indoor playground: Funderdome
Funderdome is owned and operated by the spouse of Robert's boss Gary.
They all had a blast on the Sky Trail Ropes Course (22 feet above the ground!!!)

 Mikey had no fear and just followed his Fun-Ambassador Nicolas, who happens to be Gary's son :)

Later that week, Mikey had a playdate with his friend Eden at Poppy's house. We had a nice Barbecue

We went to see Blanca and her son Sebastian who are taking care of our house and our dog Shiva while we are in India

 July 9 Mikey and his best friend Orion met up for the first time in months. They were soooo excited!!!!

We met up with my good friend Simone and her darling son Zachary!

One night, our friend Jeff came over to see us. We went to a restaurant for dinner, but Mikey fell asleep in his car seat, so Robert brought the entire seat into the restaurant. 

 Mikey was in a foul mood when he woke up. It was kind of funny :)

 July 12, Orion came over to Jules' house for Mikey's first sleepover. They had a blast and of course it took a long time before they finally fell asleep.

The next day I got them matching sun glasses. They look so cool!!!
